A Dwarka fast-track court has today given death sentence to all the three convicts in the gang rape and murder case of a 19-year-old girl that took place in February 2012 in Qutub Vihar, near Dwarka, New Delhi.
On 9 February 2012, the girl who was
working as a data entry operator in Gurgaon's Cyber City was abducted
by the three convicts, namely Rahul (27), Ravi (23) and Vinod (23) in
a car near her house at Qutub Vihar and then she was gang raped and
murdered by them.
They poured acid into the victims eyes and pierced
liquor bottle into her private parts, and then threw the body in a
field, near Rodhai village in Haryana's Rewari district.
The police could find the body of the
victim three days after the incident, and till then the body had got
decomposed and mutilated. The three youths were arrested and booked
for offenses of kidnapping, unnatural sex, gang rape and murder of
the girl on the intervening night of 9 and 10 February 2012.

Delhi Police also sought the same, as reported by NDTV.
Holding that the girl was killed in a
cold blooded manner, Additional Sessions Judge Virender Bhat on 13
February 2012 had held the trio guilty of the offenses.
