Gurgaon hosts Afghan TV award show
Gurgaon recently hosted an international award function of the biggest network of Afghanistan known as Ariana Television Network (ATN). It is a Kabul based television channel that have hosted it's earlier award functions in cities like San Francisco, Amstredam, Hamburg and Dubai. The music award function witnessed the celebrations with myriad of dance performances and awards distribution to the winners from the Afghan music industry.

“I actually appreciate the fact that all the Afghans are appreciating the talent. ATN is giving an ideal platform to the talent of Afghan whether it's actors, singers or musicians. It's fantasizing and honestly I loved it”, said Salman a renowned afghan actor as reported by ANI. The music award show also saw the attendance of prominent actor Sharat Saxena and the legendary actress Sharmila Tagore from Bollywood.

“There is so much similarity between the music of Afghanistan and India. Some of the instruments are same such as Tabla or the sitar. There is undoubtedly some interlink between both the nations and such event only makes the relationship between two nations better”, said Sharat Saxena, Bollywood actor.

ATN is one of the largest private television network in Afghanistan. The music award show saw lot of young winners taking the awards. The private media channel covers 33 of 34 provinces in Afghanistan reaching over 20 million afghans.
