At a time, when people look down upon policemen on the streets, Gurgaon Police has been doing some commendable job in recent months catching burglars, busting robbery gangs in order to make the millennium city a safe place to reside in.
When Anand Kumar, in-charge of Crime Branch - 6, Bilaspur, Gurgaon received information about two crooks planning their next loot, he immediately geared himself to get hold of them. The Crime Branch in-charge also called in his subordinate Sub Inspector Manjeet Singh to arrest both the criminals. They were successful as well.
The two have been identified as Mustakim (21) and Aarif (26). Both of them hail from district Mewat, Haryana. The police personnel has recovered a country made pistol, a cartridge, one iron press along with a motrobike (Hero Honda model - Splendour) from them.
The two have been charged with sections 398, 401 and 412 of IPC. When further grilled by the police personnel in the custody, both of them confessed to their crime and divulged details about the crime they committed on 30 and 31st December, 2013. They looted a truck loaded with rice sacks with few other members, which was later found in a locked farm house in Sohna on 3rd January, 2013.
