Gurgaon Police arrests wanted criminal after a long encounter
After a long encounter, Gurgaon's Police's unit number 6 of Bilaspur arrested a criminal Bhudev aka Bhanvar who was wanted in several cases of attempts to murder and robberies.

Sources in Gurgaon Police told this citizen journalist that on the night of 16 March some policemen from crime unit of Bilaspur were patrolling on NH8 when they spotted some boys who started running after seeing them. The patrol party chased them and when they were about to catch hold of them, the boys fired their guns.

“We warned them before firing in return but when they did not stop we had to fire in return and in that firing Bhudev aka Bhanvar got injured. We took him immediately to the Medanta hospital,” sources added.

A case has been filed in Manesar police station against Bhudev. Sources added that Bhudev was already wanted in four cases of murder attempts and robbery.

In a separate case, Gurgaon Police has also caught hold of a gang of six who were planning a dacoity and robbery. “We got information that in an empty land near Leisure Valley about five to six men are sitting and they might also have some weapons and are planning a serious crime. After interrogation, our team found they were planning to loot a petrol pump at NH8. When we asked them to surrender, they fired on us and tried to run but we managed to arrest them all,” Deputy Commissioner of Gurgaon Police Rajesh Duggal said.
