Gurgaon police to register mobile theft and snatching cases with no ifs and buts
Generally, one needs to provide an affidavit or a petition to the police personnel when he/she wants to register a mobile theft or a snatching complaint. Even after struggling to file a complaint, one needs to wait for the police investigation.

However, the Gurgaon Police have issued strict instructions to all the SHO's of the various police stations of Gurgaon to register the case with the concerned sections instead of filing an FIR of stolen mobile phones or snatching.

If any police personnel fails to do so or displays negligence towards the case, he might have to face the heat from the higher authorities.

Anyone can call on public helpline number 9999999953 of Gurgaon police, if they are facing any issues while registering a complaint of mobile theft or snatching.
