Gurgaon rain gives no relief, but creates chaos in the city
Rains in Gurgaon always spells doom over the commuters. The maximum problem are faced by people who commutes to and fro Delhi or Noida to Gurgaon. Yesterday, as monsoons hit the city with full force and provided some respite to everyone from the increasing humidity, everyone was elated. But the elation soon ended when people faced water logged roads, total chaos and traffic confusion while going from Gurgaon to Delhi.

A friend of mine Ashim Sunam, who was travelling from Gurgaon Palam Vihar to Dwarka and had to take the underpass was caught in an unexpected situation. So much so that he had to take lift from a truck driver. While the journey he had next was straight out of the film Highway and he enjoyed it thoroughly but the time spent was enormous and he reached home at around 11:30 pm. Talking about the experience, he said, '' There were these three burly truck drivers and they were really chilled out guys, talking about booze but we were stuck in horrible traffic for atleast 2 hours and trust me that was not great.''

Taras Jain, who was on his bike and was heading towards home faced similar situation. He was also stuck in the underpass. '' It was total chaos. There was no order and the rain with water up to our knees were making matters worse. Everyone was in a hurry, which was making matters worse as people were jamming the already jammed narrow underpass.''

Talking about a similar incident, another person, who doesn't want to be named and lives near Celebrity Holmes said, ''There was this lady who was travelling from Cyber City to Celebrity Holmes in Palam Vihar. When she left office she updated her Facebook status at around 6pm and said that she would make pakoras. However, around 10pm she put up another status cursing Gurgaon rains and roads as she just had entered her home. Just imagine, Cyber City, which is hardly 5 kms from our place took that much time.''

Twitteratis were also cursing the rain and the improper sewage system.
