India's largest kids fashion show is set to be organised in Gurgaon on 27th June 2014. The venue for the auditions has not been decided yet. Children aged between three to twelve years would participate in the event, which is orgainised by Vaishnavi Event Organisation.
The organisers are expecting around 500 children for
the auditions and the finalist will be chosen during the time
only. The registration fees stands at Rs 1,000. ''The fashion show
primarily focuses on Gurgaon, but we are open to entries from
neighbouring areas as well. It completely depends on the parents of
the kids, if they want their kids to participate,'' said, Satish
Sabharwal, Event Coordinator.
The fashion show is going to have an Indian flavour
and it would not feature children in western wear, which has normally
been a norm in many fashion shows. Satish said, ''The children would
be wearing traditional Indian dresses and not western dresses.''
The judges are not going to judge these children on
what they wear and how they look, as they will also be asked few
questions as well. Satish said, ''The judges would be asking
questions to children depending on the age of the child.''
The winner of the fashion show will walk away with Rs
51,000 along with a family trip to Vaishno Devi, runners up -
Rs21,000 plus gift hamper, and Rs 11,000 plus gift hamper as third
prize. All the participants would receive consolation prize for every
participant. Most of the parents would like their children to
participate in the fashion show, not for the money, but they would
want their children to enjoy themselves in the process and if their
child wins, it would act as an added bonus.
