Gurgaon to welcome monsoon within 48 to 72 hours
Gurgaonites get a relief from the scorching heat by the light showers blessing the region these days. The last two days, Gurgaon saw less of the sun as the sky remained cloudy with winds and a few drops of rain but it was today that Gurgaon received a good amount of rain. It has given Gurgaon people a reason to get out of their houses and enjoy the weather.

Looking at the weather reports for the past two weeks, the heat and humidity made it too difficult for the residents to survive. But, according to the Skymet weather services, monsoon will shortly arrive in Gurgaon within 48 to 72 hours. G P Sharma, an official with Skymet weather services, said ? Next three days, Gurgaon can experience good showers, lowering the temperatures to minimum thirties. The monsoon this time, being late, according to the charts, will be visiting Gurgaon within the next 48 to 72 hours.?

The weather, last week gave Gurgaon people a tough time, just making the residents restless with power cuts and water shortage worsening the conditions.

Sharma also said, ? This monsoon season will bring upto 93 to 94 percent of rainfall over the entire region. The monsoon is running late from its scheduled time so it is expected that it will make up for the lost time. Our weather predictions have always been fairly accurate and based on the analysis, it can be said that it will be a healthier monsoon this season.?

Skymet predicts that the week will be a pleasant one with cloudy skies, not leaving soon and pre monsoon rain to stay until the rainy season begins. So, here is a golden opportunity for the Gurgaonwallas to forget the past week that was full of sweat and dismay and welcome the rain.
