Gurgaon Traffic Police PRO made to do sit-ups before suspension
A public relation officer of Gurgaon's Traffic Police was allegedly made to do sit ups by Bharti Arora, Joint Commissioner of Gurgaon Traffic Police before he was suspended from his roles and responsibilities. The PR officer was said to be involved in a bribe case where he cited a senior official's name for taking money.

When we spoke to Gurgaon Police's PRO Subhash Yadav, he simply refused to divulge any details related to the case and asked to contact with the Bharti Arora herself.

The suspended PRO in question was appointed as head constable in Gurgaon Traffic Police last year and was new in the department. Surendra Singh (PRO) supposedly sought Rs.25000 from a traffic SHO of NH8 while saying that a senior official has asked for a Blackberry phone as reported by TOI.

The PRO asked him to arrange the money at the earliest, however the SHO could only manage Rs. 15000. The Traffic SHO disclosed this matter to his colleague where he asked him to get this matter clear by a senior official.

After the matter was sorted out, Surendra Singh was found as the culprit and thus Bharti Arora allegedly made him to do the sit ups before suspending him. The case has once again raised eyebrows on the behaviour of the top cops in the police force.

There have been innumerable cases where police personnel of lower ranks are intentionally made to do such things as a punishment which are inhumane in nature.
