Gurgaon turns into a blooming suburb from a sheer farmland
Gurgaon is amongst India's upcoming cities which evolved out of sheer farmland and in mere 25 years went on to become one of the most happening metros of the country. It is a destination not only for the elite but foreign nationals as well with its luxurious housings and numerous malls attracting them. Opportunities come in truckloads for the ambitious with the best and the largest businesses of the world establishing offices here.

COMPARED TO other states, Gurgaon boasts of a fast life with late night parties, exhibitions, dramas, and new restaurants that are added every other month. There is so much to do in Gurgaon on a given day, from spending a sunny morning at the golf course, watching a movie on the big screen with celebrities dropping in for premieres every now and then, the most recent being Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra promoting Agneepath in PVR. Concerts, going to galleria to grab a cup of coffee and catching up on life with friends or our favorite shopping hub, Ambience mall with its big brands and attractive showrooms, not to forget the bowling alley, BluO and the most recent installation, an all season indoor ice-skating rink, one of its kind in all of Delhi and NCR.

As they say all good things have a bad side too, the acclaimed high standards of the city are dampened by the rickety roads with open manholes, bad traffic sense and all of us are aware about the rowdiness of the crowd on New Year’s Eve on Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road. The flaws in the city’s infrastructure and general disregard for rules are being battled by the government with the new Deputy Commissioner doing an excellent job to instil discipline.

Gurgaon is rapidly developing, already people have gone to the extent of calling it the Manhattan of India and with the proposed expansion through its Master plan 2025 and with top educational institutions coming in, it is well on its way.
