Gurgaon witnesses yet another road accident leading to death
Of late, Gurgaon seems to have become a hotbed for road accidents. It was only last month in Sector 10, Gurgaon that a Haryana Roadways bus mowed down a father and a daughter while they were waiting for the school bus. A similar scene broke out yesterday, when a three year old girl was crushed to death by a pick-up truck, while waiting for the bus. She was accompanied by her dad this time as well.

After the accident, the child was taken to the hospital, where, unfortunately doctors declared her brought dead. As per medical reports, it has been reported that the child fractured her skull.

"The truck came hurtling towards us. My daughter was walking just behind me when I saw it coming at high speed. I moved aside but my daughter didn't have the time to react. When I turned to see if she was okay, I saw her on the road bleeding from the head," said Shilender Singh, Khushbu's father, reported The Times of India.

But, the police have a tough task in their hand, as they have no details about the truck, which crushed the girl, leading to her death. They are expected to use the CCTV footages from cameras installed in nearby shops.

There is a serious need for the authorities to look into the matter, as such kind of road accidents are increasing day in and out in the millennium city. Tough stringent laws needs to be brought into the fore, so that people behind the wheels do not drive rashly and are aware of the consequences.
