Gurgaon's traffic situation expected to improve, suggestions proposed
With Gurgaon housing a number of MNCs, people from varuious parts of the NCR region flock to the city for work, as a result of which traffic jam becomes a major problem. Apart from this, a number of accidents have also taken place on Gurgaon roads.

Looking into all these, the authorities have come up with suggestions to improve upon the situation after a survey was conducted by the traffic police.

Installation of traffic signals where necessary, repair of dysfunctional signals and painting zebra crossings near schools and hospitals were some of the suggestions, which can play an important role in improving the traffic scene in Gurgaon. The police have asked for installation of traffic signals around 19 points in the city, including Sohna Chowk, old Railway Road, Sector 12 Chowk, Khandsa Chowk and Krishna Chowk, among others, reported The Times of India.

It has also been highlighted in recent days about the pathetic lighting conditions in Gurgaon roads, where blinker lights have been proposed at Expressway point near Crown Plaza, Appu Ghar, Narsingpur village and Hero Honda Chowk.

Apart from these, there were a number of other suggestions, which were also proposed to make the traffic smooth in Gurgaon, which is a must for the number of cars in the city has been increasing everyday. Despite, the introduction of Gurgaon rapid metro, traffic in Gurgaon always seems to be a major problem.
