Gustakhi Maaf- Haryana: A book on Haryana's politics launched
Haryana's politics of Aaya Ram Gaya Ram, floor-crossing, Bharat Darshan, defection, casteism and nepotism has been highlighted in a book in Hindi titled, Gustakhi Maaf- Haryana, written by Pawan Kumar Bansal, an author-cum-freelance journalist.

Book anecdotal in structure was released by eminent journalist Om Thanvi and Union Minister of Defence for State, Rao Inderjit Singh at a function held at Delhi. Complimenting the author both Thanvi and Inderjit Singh said that Pawan Kumar Bansal had truly shown the politics and style of functioning of politicians of Haryana cutting across party lines.

The minister said that had those who remained in power bothered about the interests of people instead of looting, Haryana would have been a progressive and tax free state.

Author of two best selling books on politics and journalism of Haryana, Pawan Kumar Bansal claimed that having no malice against any body he had tried to show the real face of politicians in the state who often hoodwink people by making false and attractive promises to win the elections.

Book covers Haryana's politics of defection, floor crossing, Aaya Ram Gaya Ram phenomena, corruption, nepotism and casteism besides having important events of pre-independence era concerning Haryana.

Cartoons in this 225 page book are made by Narender Gehlot, owner of India Bulls company and Jahanvi, who is doing Ph.D in management in Guru Jhambeshwar University, Hisar. Author has covered Haryana for last forty years. 

Book also reveals that although Bhajan Lal is known for doing Ph.D in defection as he had converted his entire Janata Party government in Haryana in the Congress govt following Congress' defeat in 1990 Lok Sabha polls, but it was then Prime Minister Indra Gandhi who has also threatened him of dismissal of his government.

The book highlights as how farmers' land was looted by misusing provisions of land acquisition act to benefit powerful colonizer lobby. About author's earlier book Haryana Ke Lalo Ke Sabrange Kisse, Justice P.B. Sawant, then Press Council Chairman had said that by exposing politicians, who use their power to serve their near and dear ones, author has served a public cause besides adding to literature on political satire.
