Halla Bol takes a leaf out of Modis book
Halla Bol seems to have been based on Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modis tortuous climb to the top of the political ladder. First disliked and then becoming a popular leader has strong similarity with Ajay Devgan's character.

HALLA BOL deals with the war against injustice and corruption, which is rampant in our country. It is about the rights of the citizens of India and the Constitution they helped frame. It advocates fighting for one’s rights in a non-violent and peaceful manner and thereby attaining democratic ends.

Reflecting the misery of a large-section of the middle class population, Halla Bol highlights how their daily grind forces common people to be unconcerned about their fundamental rights. It depicts the negative facet of our political system and shows how absolute power, money and fame corrupt most politicians.

In the movie, a hardcore dacoit transforms into a theatre actor and gives up his criminal ways. Showcasing the dilemma of an actor on whether to carry his fight for justice forward at great personal cost, the movie depicts a very realistic picture of the law and order situation of the country.

However, with the help of the media and street plays he tried to awaken and enlighten the people about their rights and the activities of corrupt politicians.

Characters in the film have startling similarities to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi. His crusade against terrorism and the developmental work for Gujarat needs to be lauded. During the 2002 Gujarat riots, he was very unpopular in the state, but due to his efforts in Gujarat as chief minister he regained his popularity many fold. The people of Gujarat responded by electing him to power, for a third time, with a landslide margin.

During his tenure as chief minister, the state won the UN Sasakawa Award for disaster reduction, the CAPAM (Commonwealth Association of Public Administration and Management) award for innovation in governance, the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) award, the CSI (Computer Society of India) award for e-governance, the Indiatech award in the power sector and the list goes on.

In terms of popularity, Modi can be compared to the character played by Ajay Devgan in the film Halla Bol. Initially he is very unpopular with the crowd but later due to his crusade for justice the common people look up to him. ‘Modisms’ have become popular in every nook and corner of Gujarat and it is no wonder that he has returned to the helm of the state with such a tremendous victory.

handsome, I saw his profile with photos on billionairecupid.com , where celebrities and wealthy singles hook up. The photos are not verified yet but the profile looks sincere, attractive and sexy. Maybe sometimes they really need a soul mate rather than a rich buddy. It's said Charlie Sheen has found some young and beautiful girls there. LOL.
