The versatile actor was greeted by hundreds of his fans in Mumbai outside his house, when he came on top of the terrace and waved them. Thereafter, he found success with Circus, a serial which depicted the life of circus performers. His films have been big hits both in India and abroad which include Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Om Shanti Om, Chak De, Kuch Kuch Hota hai and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. The superstar also found success as a TV host as he replaced Amitabh Bacchan from the popular Kaun Banega Crorepati.
