Harley Davidson brings its Fat Boy Special edition to India
Cruiser bike major Harley Davidson will be introducing its Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special edition to India soon. The Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special in India comes with a price tag of Rs 19.7 lakh.

AFTER MAKING its debut in the Indian market, the United States based cruiser bike major Harley Davidson on Thursday announced the launch of its new edition Fat Boy Special for its Indian market. The Fat Boy Special model in India will come with a price tag of Rs. 19.07 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi).

As per a report in a leading Indian daily, the model will be imported as a final product, and the bike will be available across all Harley Davidson dealerships across the country apart from the 14 models, which are already lined up to be included in 2011.

On the launch of the Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special model, Harley Davidson India Managing Director Anoop Prakash was quoted saying by the same daily that the company is now launching the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Special, offering a special take on the motorcycle that embodies Harley-Davidson’s rich heritage.

About financing possibilities, the company statement also mentioned that apart from ICICI with which it has already tied up for consumer financing, dealer financing and banking services, the company has also roped in HDFC Bank.

Prakash further stated that the multiple banking arrangements will help more motorcycle enthusiasts realise their dream of joining the Harley-Davidson community.
