Harrods, London based luxury brands retailer and king of expensive things, has unveiled the traditional Christmas advent calendar which contains a one-million-dollar version featuring a speedboat and a designer kitchen.
HARRODS, THE London based luxury brands retailer and king of expensive things, has unveiled the traditional Christmas advent calendar which contains a one-million-dollar version featuring a speedboat and a designer kitchen. The calendar, created by Porsche Design, is one of only five available worldwide, one for each continent. The calendar will be showcased until Friday December 24 at the store.
Managing Director of Harrods, Michael Ward said: “Harrods has long been associated with unveiling innovative and highly exclusive products and we are delighted to be welcoming Porsche Design’s unique advent calendar.”
A Harrods spokesman said the calendar was a "serious product and we do expect to sell it." He also said, "We cater for all of our customers, whether they want a teddy bear for 25 pounds or a million-dollar product like this."
Alongside the kitchen and the speed boat, Porsche Design Indicator Chronograph watch worth $139,000 in rose gold, the 8.5-metre (28-foot) speedboat are also included in Harrods traditional Christmas advent calendar. London based luxury brands retailer also revealed a pair of gold sunglasses, cufflinks and running shoes.
The advent calendar, which was designed by Porsche to bring Christmas joy to the millionaires also features a sleek black box containing luxury gifts, traditional pieces of chocolates inside the twenty-four windows.
.Right so the only people that can buy is someone who is rich and can afford all the luxuries anyway.
