Haryana CM Khattar is himself responsible for his party legislators revolting against him
About twenty legislators including four ministers, five members of Lok Sabha including two Union ministers, all belonging to the BJP have revolted against the style and functioning of Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar.

Gurugram MLA, Umesh Aggarwal who is leading the revolt alleges that Khattar although an honest man, is virtually captive in the hands of officers and corruption is rampant in his government. Aggarwal alleges that the builder mafia which flourished during tenure of Bhupinder Singh Hooda is still calling the shots in the present government, which otherwise claims zero tolerance on corruption.

Even Finance MinisterCaptain Abhimanyu had no reply when Umesh Aggarwal alleged in the Assembly about irregularities in allotment of licences for affordable housing schemes in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The million dollar question being asked in political, administrative and media circles of Haryana is, who is responsible for this state? And the answer that everybody is giving is that it is Manohar Lal Khattar himself, who is responsible for this mess.

It is widely believed that he has had no contact with either the public or even his party workers and is dependent on some officers. Khattar, a first time MLA, it may be recalled was chosen for the post of chief minister by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had a long equation with him when he was in-charge of party's Haryana affairs and Khattar was the organising secretary of the state unit.

Modi had believed that Khattar, a bachelor and RSS Parcharak will give the state a clean administration. To give a loud and clear message of his support, Modi had even attended the swearing-in ceremony of Khattar.

But to speak of controlling corruption or the law and order in the state, Khattar had miserably failed to tackle the violence during last year's agitation by the Jats who were pressingfor their demand for reservation which resulted in loss of thirty lives and burning of government and private property worth crores and looting of weapons from police stations.

Admittedly, although Khattar is not promoting his family members by indulging in nepotism like his predecessors but at the same time he is guilty for tolerating corruption just likeBhisham Pitamah had tolerated the cheerharan of Draupadi.
