Haryana math teacher suspended after his love formulae go viral: Never mathematize love in classroom
It is a warning for math teachers that their job is at stake if they will try to mathematize love during their class lessons ? more so in unisex institutions. The media had reported about a male math teacher teaching in a women's college in Haryana being suspended from his job while mathematizing love by writing formulas for love's three forms: romantic love, crush and friendship.

The video of methematized love lesson has gone viral and is available on the net. "It seems that the math teacher of Haryana went out of limits and context while mathematizing the spirit and letter of love. His equations seemed to be imbalanced and he slipped into a counter-love situation," explained a math teacher in Jaipur in somewhat mathematized language with a request for not revealing his name.

The dictionary meanings of word 'mathematize' are: to reason in a mathematical manner and to express mathematically. However, mathematization, is professional and ethically used for axiomatisation of mathematical subject matter and formalization or quantification of disciplinary subject matter as in word-problems which is serious matter of technical use of the language and linguistics of mathematics.

Some studies have shown that many math teachers while teaching even mathematical concepts use faulty language. At times, their interaction is gender biased or trivial which make female students hate mathematics and mathematics teachers. That implicates that mathematics teachers need to be trained to teach professionally and evoke interest in mathematics. Even a study-based news story in this portal had revealed improper use of math language and inability of teachers to read mathematics formulas and equations.
