Haryana police trying to hush up the HTET cheating case?
Haryana Police is hushing up the case of alleged copying in Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test held all over the state on February 02. At M.M. College, Fatehabad examination centre a girl who was caught writing answers with the help of an answer key, has revealed on being questioned that she had purchased the key from a person of Rohtak with the help of two other people.
A case under sections 420 I.P.C and 120-B has been registered on the complaint of centre superintendent and the girl was arrested. Fatehabad's SHO Gaurav Sharma while admitting that the girl has disclosed names, said that they have not mentioned it in their FIR as they may get alert and escape.

When contacted, Shiv Charan, Superintendent of Police, Fatehabad tried to down play the incident stating that answer key was found fake on being examination by the concerned authorities adding that girl has only promised to give money only after result is declared. About arresting accused, he said that serious efforts are being made.

When contacted Shatrujeet Kapoor, Inspector General of Police, Hissar Range asked to contact the concerned SP while saying that I.G. Police was not supposed to know the details as thousands of cases are lodged daily.

Highly placed sources told that efforts are going on to hush up the case as Govt. is already under cloud for papers leaks and nepotism in giving Govt. jobs. Moreover, the alleged involvement of a person from Rohtak district will bring bad name to the powers. Hence, the police is allegedly hushing up the case.
