Haryana's CM Hooda is keeping Ashok Khemka issue alive to embarrass Sonia Gandhi
Haryana Govt. headed by Bhupinder Singh Hooda is using all weapons available in its armoury to create troubles for whistle blower IAS officer Ashok Khemka who had hit international media headlines by cancelling the land deals of Robert Vadhera (Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law) and leading colonizer DLF.

It looks chargesheet has been issued to Khemka for bringing bad name to Vadhera and Haryana Govt. The chargesheet was forcibly given to his teenaged son in his absence. It reminds the dark days of emergency when excesses were committed in Haryana by Bansi Lal and his associates. Khemka's son, who was alone in his house, was threatened to receive the notice. He was told that if he doesn't accept the notice then it will be presumed that he had refused to accept the chargesheet.

Govt. has accused Khemka of acting with 'malice' and without 'authority in wrongly cancelling the mutation of land deals between Skylight Hospitality Ltd, owned by Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadhera and real estate giant DLF Universal Ltd, which has donated Rs 2 crores to a college in Rohtak named after Matu Ram, grandfather of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. At that function, Hooda while thanking DLF for the donation has stated that although he was king of state but real king is DLF.

In a letter written to PK Choudhary, Chief Secretary, Haryana who is presently on extension after superannuation, courtesy Hooda, Khemka has requested him with folded hands that charge sheets and memos should be served to him in his office as he is not fugitive further adding that his family members should not be punished for his sins of exposing scams of the high and mighty.

Khemka had described the action 'extremely shocking' and 'mischievous'. Khemka has been accused of tarnishing the image of Robert Vadhera by  intentionally not relinquishing his charge and cancelling mutation of the Vadhera-DLF land deals four days after he was transferred from the post of Director General, Consolidation and Land Holdings. While the Govt. has accused Khemka of tarnishing its image by going to media, it is silent on how the chargesheet was leaked to media before being delivered to Khemka.

Highly placed sources told this citizen journalist that Bhupinder Singh Hooda is keeping the Khemka issue alive under a well calculated and planned strategy to influence Sonia Gandhi. By using the Khemka issue, Hooda has succeeded in cutting his opponents within party, namely Union Minister Kumari Selja and Birender Singh, maternal grandson of late Chottu Ram, messiah of farmers.

It is interesting to mention here that at a recent programme organised by a media group, Hooda has reacted strongly when asked about Robert Vadhera land deals. Political annalysts say that Hooda has repeated the history created by other Jat leader late Bansi Lal, who during his tenure as chief minister has managed land for late Sanjay Gandhi's dream project Maruti at Gurgaon in Haryana bordering the nation capital.

Robert Vadhera who has considerable land interests in  districts of Haryana bordering Delhi is taking keen interest in state's politics through remote control. In last assembly polls he was instrumental in getting four tickets to his favourites. And Aftab Ahemad was recently made Minister by Hooda at Vadhera's instructions. Robert Vadhera has given  his blessings to one Pandit ji for Congress ticket from Sirsa Assembly constituency from where Sunita, daughter of Lachman Das Arora is strong contender.
