Haryana's Kurukshetra to set up multi-crore Gita research institute Gita Gyan Sansthanam
The foundation stone of a multi-crore institute Gita Gyan Sansthanam was laid ceremoniously on March 4 in Haryana's Kurukshetra in which BJP leaders, spiritual leaders, representatives of Hindu groups, government officials, district administration officials, educationists and local residents participated.

The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki, Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Dev Vrat, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, VHP leader Praveen Togadia, yoga guru Baba Ramdev and several other religious leaders from different places of the country.

Besides that, several Haryana ministers, bureaucrats, district officials and the vice-chancellors of various universities in the region were also present at the ceremony.

The institute will be spread over 6 acres of land close to sacred tank Brahmasarovar with Gurukul, research centre, library and naturopathy centre. The main purpose of the institute will be to spread the message of most revered Hindu scripture of Bhagavad Gita worldwide.

An exhibition of the architectural designs of the institute; pictures related to Gita, Lord Krishna and freedom fighters was also held.
