Hate not, eliminate not: A non-poem
The kinds of speeches and utterances that are being made by the politicians and their followers these days seem to be dividing the society. The body language and paralanguage being used is frightening for a common peace-loving person.

"There is a war of words going on these days. And, every dam thing is being seen as fair in this war. How irrational and insane we can get in our political discourse; and how much intolerant we can get of one another, it needs to pondered by intellectuals and resisted," said a retired professor from the local university during his morning walk get-together with others.

Here is my non-poem on the present situation.

Call someone a dog

And, kill him.

Hate  'n eliminate -

Only irrational do that

Only power-drunk do that

Only insane do that

~*~

Hate not people, rather -

Hate evil

Hate inequity

Hate injustice

Hate irrationality

Hate uniformity and similarity

~*~

Rather hate -

Unequal distribution of recourses

Unequal distribution of power

Unequal distribution of speech

~*~

Hate is a suffering.

Shun hate -

It creates fear

It suppresses human spirit

It defiles human dignity

~*~

Hate not!

Let diverse flowers bloom in abundance!

Live! Let live!
