A HEALTH week campaign is going on in Saraikela successfully in which information was imparted on various aspects of personal and community healthcare
CS A.K. Manjhi told reporters that the programme was aimed at spreading awareness among rural folk about various diseases. “The campaign gives especial emphasis on spreading awareness about various methods of contraception. Under it various devices of contraception would be distributed among villagers,” he said while adding that free contraceptive operations would be organised at different government hospitals in the area on Sunday. During the health camp, the women were made aware about various aspects of reproductive health care. They were told about various methods of contraception, so that they can make informed decisions about extending their family.
