Women have to bear the entire shame and blot of all mishaps for no fault of theirs. Even after being victimised, raped and murdered, strangely it?s all her fault. Men are men and they can do what they please. Such discrimination is eating into our social
WHY IS always a woman blamed? Why is the respect and culture of a society always associated with women? Where does the responsibility of a man lie? This refers to the recent article published in newspaper in support of Pandher, which demanded for the punishment of girls, whom he used to bring in order to punish him. He committed the heinous crime of not only killing the innocent children but also cutting them into pieces and thereafter throwing their organs in drains to hide his inhuman deeds.
Shame on those for extending support to such criminals – they are, in fact, not only the killers of innocent people, but also the culture, civilisation and even the basic ethics of a society. We all take immense interest whenever we hear something related to the story of Fiza and Chand Mohammad and most of us end up with the famous sentence, ’Man can go away with this but how shameless was the woman who dared to do such an act’. Fiza’s life, dignity and respect are tainted forever without denying the fact that Chand is also spotted. But only Fiza is forced to suffer and will bear the pointing fingers throughout the life. Chand went back to his previous wife and can lead his life normally after the whole episode. Yes, definitely the question arises that Fiza can also follow the same but if practically applied it never happens in our society. The woman is blotted forever but a man is left for being a man. Don’t dare to take for granted the biological weakness of woman in which god also did the partiality but respect her for her immense emotional strength which holds the mother earth. If a woman can give birth to a man then she also knows how to take hold of that man and show him the right place. Man and woman are the two wheels of our society and it won’t be able to run smoothly if any one of the wheels is crushed and destroyed in anyway. And always remember the proven truth, ‘Only that society flourishes in which women are respected’. A woman shouldn’t always be blamed as a man is equally responsible for maintaining the dignity of a society and his indecent acts affect it badly.

You are right. Women are exploited everywhere all around the world. But I think the reason is this that we are not so emotionally strong as we should be. Women soften with the soft tone and pitch of voice. She lost her opinion making powers and lost whatever she has. Sometimes she can��t judge the person standing in front of her. This is all due to the fact that we loose the emotional stability So women should be emotionally strong and try to show her determinacy.
.This article should have read 'His fault lies in being a man' becoz when there is a dispute between a man and a woman, the society supports the woman without a second thought. Men are always blamed in feminist democracies and for all the good, it is women who take the credit.

How do you know that Chand seduced Fiza. It could be the other way too. Its the mental attitude of society that men are always wrong and women are always good. I do not know. But it looks like Chand has fooled Fiza. But, I cannot confirm this 100%. Perhaps Fiza had some bad intention too and that's why she went to marry and already married man. Lets not take sides.
.Its always the men who get the blame. Now, the society wants Chand tried for rape. If it was opposite, society would b delighted and would call it empowerment of women! Adultery is a crime for men alone. Women are unaccountable.

Perghaps, it was too late for her to understand that she is giving her everything to the wrong man. Most of all let me tell u that she ebing a woman had the courage to stand still in her relationship, whereas chand being amn was weak enough to give up on the public pressure......
.This is rediculous article. I think its opposite where woman is given undue importance and men bear the whole burnt. Just for the argument, lets pretend if Fiza was man and chand was a woman. If Chand had left her husband Seema and children and married Fiza for 2 months and had went back to her husband Seema, then it would have been "Subhah ka boola ghar vapish aaya" or forgive poor woman chand as she came back to her family from evil deeded man Fiza! Just switch their gender and compare and answer is right before you. Its feminist India who gives undue importance to person like Fiza and burn all the men kind of them. You folks hate your brother and father too. Don't you?
.A well written article, but I want to point out one things here, women are considered week becoz they themselves do not support the gender. Yes we do hear a lot of things like 'Men are like that only, how could she being girl could commit such a shameless act' but who say this...most of the time females.
Soem orthodox people in our society firmly beleive that they know the whole world and have commited nothing wrong in their life. Perhaps they consider thmselves God, as they think they can never be wrong.
It's time for such people to realise that in any such incident both the partners are equally responsible for their acts
Megha Gupta, I am amazed at the way society renders justice by siding with the woman without even giving a fair trial to the male accused. Isn't it the way feminist democracies work? A woman claims rape and the man is put behind bars without trial. THis is called gender equality, right? Where is justice? It may be also true that Chand was seduced by the lady. The lady was attracted to his money and wealth. We don't know.
