Here is the door Raja Jaswant Singh !
Is it a case of Domino Effect? One brick is falling after another! Is it a beginning of the end of RSS’s well crafter NaMo Dream?? Fallen from grace but with a Lok Sabha ticket in their hand, LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi wily nily entering the battle fields they were reluctant to plunge. Now the veteran BJP leader Jaswant Singh, bereft of a LS ticket, is gearing up to challenge the might of Modi and RSS. He has been denied the Lok Sabha ticket and now gearing up to contest as an Independent candidate from Barmer. As the TV speaks, he is likely to resign from party tomorrow. BJP has decided to field a former Congressman, retired Sona Ram Choudhary who had recently joined BJP in search of greener pastures.
Expressing his dismay over BJP’s decision, he lamented,”My honor cannot be subject to trading". But it is the second time. He had been thrown out of the party once earlier when he felt that Qaid-e-Azam was more reverential than many of our own mascots. Col Choudhary  is backed by the Star rising-again of BJP- the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhra Raje. He is a Jat and Raja Jaswant is a Thakur. Rani Vasundhra is looking for Jat support from adjoining  constituencies at this juncture. Jaswant is insignificant nuisance that could be managed later. He was reluctantly and amicably adjusted in past also.

But there is a third angle also. A large section of BJP workers in Barmer is not willing to forget the immediate past of Congressman Col Choudhary. Raja Jaswant Singh is a sitting Lok Sabha MP from Darjeeling in West Bengal. He is sure that he had brought every bounty to Darjeeling. “I have done a lot for Darjeeling. I have done all that I could for Darjeeling. I wanted to contest my last election from my native place.” Unfortunately no one seems to be listening his faryad in BJP or RSS. It is a Modi era there! Jaswant Singh feels that there is war going in BJP between the devoted loyals of Old BJP Ideology and the group of the recent Encroachers who have migrated to its fold. They have had nothing to do with BJP’s ideology. Latest reports show that the supporters of Jaswant Singh destroyed posters of BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and also burnt his effigies after the senior BJP leaders.

Singh said 'I will decide my next course of action on March 24. On Sunday, Singh will address a rally in Barmer to show his strength before he files the nomination papers. And the tamasha goes on!
