Heroine trailer released to a lot of attention

If a movie poster can make so much of noise then the fact that people are tweeting with double the speed when the promo came out was no surprise. Heroine is making quite a splash on Twitter.

APART FROM the Assam tragedy another big news that's keeping the tweeples at their phones, tweeting their hearts out, is the first trailer of Heroine that was released yesterday evening. The trailer, as we all know, shows Kareena Kapoor in various places and in various moods. While this is supposedly Madhur Bhandarker's magnum opus, will Kareena also change her career path with the film

The trailer starts with a defocused camera showing flashes of Bebo, and a voice-over saying that no one is going to sign the Heroine as she is moody, sanki and over emotional. To which a husky Kareena is heard asserting that 'Har Heroine, main teeno quality to hoti hi hai.” By the looks of the trailer, the filmmaker has concentrated only on these three aspects of a heroine - that she is moody, overemotional and a little eccentric. Although it is the story of just one heroine, yet somehow it represents female leading stars in totality or at least that is what the attempt seems to be.

Kareena Kapoor is looking fabulous in all the frames of the trailer and has a baritone for some of the dialogues. Spotting various hairstyles, the aging process right from the time that she is new to the industry to her fame, and her downfall, is cleverly shown through makeup, dress and her hairstyles. While most of the people are going gaga over the trailer - we will have to wait till September 12 to know how Kareena has fared - and whether the movie will be her Dirty Picture.
