Hi-Aim 2012 attracting top hoteliers of the world to India
Hotel Le Meridian will play host to India's first global Hospitality Summit (Hi-Aim), which is scheduled for 22nd and 23rd March, 2012. Hyatt International, Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pt Ltd, Accor Hotel, Lebua-Luxury Hotel are some of the names that would be making the event a grand one by participating in it.

WELL KNOWN people from the hospitality industry would be coming to India from all around the globe at Hotel Le Meridian on 22nd and 23rd March, 2012 for India’s first global Hospitality Summit (Hi-Aim). The summit is the brainchild of some of the most well known names in the hospitality industry such as Romesh Kaul, Neeraj Kodesia, Pankaj Kodesia and Anil Sharma. Romesh Koul, who is one of the organisers said, “Our primary focus would be on the interior design, architecture and towards the management of the industry”. Hence, it would be a great platform for people from the industry to interact with people from various countries, which could benefit hoteliers in the summit.


Well known entrepreneurs, professionals, from the industry would be involved in the panel list, who would be talking about the various aspects of the industry. Koul says, “There are various hotel brands along with international designers who would be coming for the summit”. Some of them are WATG, which is the world’s largest design company, Marriot International, Hyatt International, Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pt Ltd, Accor Hotel, and Lebua-Luxury Hotel, etc.
 
The top hotel chains of the world are sure to be a part of the mega summit, as the organisers have two months to attract the big shots of the industry. Blue Apple image is the official PR partner for the summit, who would be trying to promote the summit in a grandeur scale.

Dilip Puri, who is the Managing Director, India and Regional Vice President South Asia Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pt Ltd, says, “The Hospitality market is currently being estimated to reach USD 30 billion by 2015 and realization of such figures is only possible through constant change within the industry. We have to come forward, acknowledge and discuss the new ideas that have changed the way the industry has been working. Starwood is happy to be a part of Hi-Aim that has made a sincere effort of bringing key areas such as design and management together and then look at the bigger picture.”

One can make out that the summit is going to be very high profiled one, thus also reflecting that hotel chains around the world consider India to be an important destination.
