High-speed mental mathematics workshop organized for children
The Vedic Maths Forum India organized a three-day Winter Workshop for children from class 3 onwards on learning skills on high speed mental mathematics, in Raniganj, West Bengal, from December 28-30, 2012.
In Raniganj a tota ofl 62 students participated (from Grade 3 to Undergraduates). All the students liked the methods of Vedic Mathematics and requested for similar workshops in th future.
Through Vedic Mathematics, children and adults can learn to do menal mathematical calculations at a fast pace using short cuts.
At a time when chidren are becoming used to using computers and mobile calculators for calculations, an intitiative to teach Vedic Mathematics is a positive move.
