Higher Secondary rank holders felicitated by Chief Minister
Rank holders of Higher Secondary rank holders were congratulated by the chief minister of Assam, Tarun Gagoi.
IT WAS a remarkable moment for the Higher Secondary exam rank holders. A felicitation programe was organized by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. The chief guest was the honorable chief minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi.

The meeting was scheduled at 11:00 am at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalashetra Auditorium, Panjabari. At around 11:30 the CM arrived and there was much excitement among students as well as the respected institutional heads. Education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma was, however, not able to attend the event.

The students felicitated the students (first ten rank holders). There was also an interaction round among the students and the chief minister. The students forwarded many questions to which the chief minister replied. There were questions regarding the severe flood problem, weak importance to sociology department at Gauhati University, scope on the carreer on Chartered Accountant at the region etc. One of the students also explained that although they secured a rank but it’s very difficult even to get admitted in universities like Delhi University with high cut off list. She also doubted the marking system of the board.

By the end of the session, the chief minister sent a wonderful message for the students who secured less or failed. He said there is no reason of being depressed or frustrated for securing low. There are many successful people in this world who were once great failures.
