Himachal CM to consider the demands of Panchayat Takniki Sahayaks
While speaking on the occasion of the state level Panchayat Takniki Sahayak Sangh meet at Dharamsala today Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh said that the state government was giving adhoc appointments in various departments and steps would be taken to regularize those who had completed more than six to eight years of service.
He said that BJP Government had started the tradition of making appointments on adhocism, but the present State Government would set a time limit for the regularization of adhoc employees.

He said that the Panchayat Takniki Sahayaks were contributing a lot towards the development of the state by successful completion of various projects. He assured that the government would consider their demands and the decision to this effect would be taken soon, which would not only benefit them but all others who were working on adhoc basis in other departments.

Earlier, Sh Bhuvnesh Kumar Sharma, President of the Union welcomed and honoured the Chief Minister and other distinguished guests on the occasion. Apprising the Chief Minister of their demand he said that at presently there were as many as 1200 Panchayat Sahayaks in the state out of which 840 were rendering their continuous service for the last twelve years and the rest were engaged for the last five years in the department.

The Union demanded regularization of those who had been serving for more than eight to ten years and the new technical assistants be made daily wagers. It also demanded that the practice of commission on works basis should be stopped.

Earlier, Sh. Ashwani Kumar district president of the Union welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries.
