Himachal governor wishes success to volunteers on Red Cross Day
As Himachal Pradesh observed the Red Cross Day, state governor congratulated members and volunteers and wished them success in their humanitarian pursuits.

HIMACHAL PRADESH observed the World Red Cross Day at Raj Bhawan today in which office bearers of Indian red Cross Society pinned up Red Cross flags to Governor Urmila Singh who made hercontribution towards Red Cross Society to mark the Day. She also congratulated all the members and volunteers of the Indian Red Cross Society and wished them all success in their humanitarian pursuits.

Governor also appealed to the people to donate liberally to Red Cross Societies. The theme for this Year's World Red Cross Day was 'Youth on the Move', according to an official press release of HP government.

Smt. Sheela Dhumal, Chairperson, H.P. Red Cross Society Hospital Welfare Section and Smt. Chandana Roy, Vice Chairperson, Smt. Anita Tegta, General Secretary, H.P. Red Cross Society, Smt. Nirta Akre, Honorary Secretary, H.P. Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, Members of H.P. Red Cross Society and Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, officers of Raj Bhawan and Red Cross society were present among others on the occasion.
