Hindu leader prominently features in a documentary on religion
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has prominently appeared in a just-released documentary titled 'Unresolvable', which examines conflict over religion and politics.

THIS DOCUMNETARY, which was in the 2012 official selection of International Festival of Cinema and Religion, 'captures the raw emotions over religious differences as members of various faiths struggle to use the political process to advance their own religious agendas'.

The scene of protested historic first Hindu prayer in the 218 years history of the United States Senate read by Rajan Zed is shown in this 87-minutes long film, alongside interviews of protesters and others about their reactions to Hindu prayer in the Senate, besides Zed.

Mike Allen of Playbook Politico reportedly calls the film, directed by Bryan Hall and Jack Donaldson, a “must see.” Presented by Foundation for Religious Diplomacy and Living Biography and rated PG, its executive producers are Randall Paul, John Carosella and W. Wilder Knight II.

“Unresolvable” offers an intense discussion of the role of faith in politics and examination of the religious freedom and intolerance in America. The filmmakers traveled across the US as they interviewed religious voices.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, has urged world filmmakers to come up with films giving deeper, broader, and more inclusive understanding of religion as religion is a complex component of human life and is a highly powerful force in human society.
