Seeing its ambitious expansion plan, Evok will be the largest home interior fashion brand with four store operations in ‘North India’, which will be increasing many folds in next two to three years. HHRL plans to invest about Rs 250 crores in next coming five years to establish 50 large format stores all across India. The entire stores will be company operated.

According to D K Jairath, chief operating officer of HHRL, “In spite of slow down, housing and its related value for style home interiors demand will continue to grow as India is far from maturity and saturation. Evok has decided to launch two more flagship store at Gurgaon and Indirapuram seeing NCR being the perfect laboratory of home and home interior segment in India, where demand for such one stop home interior destination is necessity.”

He adds further, “As part of Evok expansion plan, store rollouts will cover top 25 retail cities like; Chandigarh, Jaipur, Luckhnow, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Bhopal, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad with a retail footprint of 50 stores spread over 1.2 mn sq ft with target revenue turnover of Rs 400 crore over the next five years.”

Evok vision is to be the first choice partner of customers aspiring for ‘value for style’ home interior solutions focusing on the mid and mid-upper segment consumer group. Evok aspires to attain market leadership in these consumer segments in near future.

As part of its expansion strategy in home interior domain, Evok is shortly planning to open ‘kitchen specialty stores’ in NCR. They will be super specialty stores which will design, install, decorate and maintain kitchen space by providing value for style modular kitchen and accessories.
