Holla Mohalla festival being celebrated at Gurdwara in San Jose of United States
The annual festival of Hola Mohalla is being celebrated at the Gurdwara in San Jose located at Evergreen Valley of San Jose, California with devotion and great festivities as a part of 550th Prakash Parva Year of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Jee Sahib this year. It was informed by Pammy Kapoor, Facebook friend with a few pictures.

The Gurudwara is one of the tourist attractions in greater San Francisco Bay Area and during the fair on Hola Mohalla and Vaishakhi, people cutting across the religious lines enjoy the items like sugarcane juice and roasted maize along with taking in spiritual recitations from the Sikh Holy Scripture.

It is said that the Gurdwara is open to Sikhs and non-Sikhs every day and offers a daily prayer and free-kitchen services or langar. Also, a weekly school for youth to study the Sikh faith and music is functioning on the premises, it is reported.

It is one of the largest Gurdwaras outside of India, which was founded by the local Sikh community and is run on donations. It is spread over forty acres and of land and offers a spectacular view of the bay and city lights at night.
