OSCAR NOMINATED actor David Lynch of Mulholland Drive fame, frequently tweets verses from the ancient Hindu scripture Bhagavad Gita.
Here are some examples of Lynch’s tweets: “You have control over action alone, never over its fruits. Live not for the fruits of action, nor attach yourself to inaction”, “These bodies come to an end; But that vast embodied Self is ageless, fathomless, eternal”.
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has urged other Hollywood celebrities to also explore Bhagavad Gita, which considers the nature of action, the religious and social duty, the human relationship to God, the means of liberation, the nature of sacrifice, etc. It would bring meaning to the life of celebrities, Zed, who is the president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, added.
