According to reports, Hollywood actor-producer Wesley Snipes (Blade), who is serving time at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) McKean (Pennsylvania, United States of America), is teaching yoga.

Wesley Trent Snipes, 48, is reportedly serving a sentence on tax issues. Reports suggest that he recently requested yoga mats for himself and other inmates. FCI—McKean is a medium security facility housing male inmates. An adjacent satellite prison camp houses minimum security male offenders.

Well known Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has termed it a 'step in the right direction'.

According to Patanjali, author of the basic text, the Yoga Sutra, yoga is a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical, Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, explained.
