BRAKE PROBLEMS have led to a huge recall by automaker Honda Motors, which on Tuesday stated that it will recall 412,000 US vehicles. This Honda recall has been issued for "soft brake pedals" and comes on the heels of the Oversight Committee hearing regarding a similar recall by Toyota Motors.
In this Honda recall, the company has called back 2007-2008 models of the Honda Odyssey (about 344,000) and Honda Element (68,000). These recall models will then have their Vehicular stability Assist Modulators modified.
Honda Motors initiated this Honda recall after customers reported that the brake pedals were feeling "soft", getting lower than normal to the floor. The condition was also accerbating slowly in affected vehicles over time.
This Honda recall comes after one issued in February which pointed out 437,763 vehicles for repairs worldwide due to issues in airbags, which could cause them to explode with too much pressure, spraying out deadly metal shards.
