Honey Singh is back in the news and for the right reasons after a very long time. If things work out, then he might crone for Bruce Willis movie, 'Die Hard 5.' This future move will truly make him an 'international villager,' something that the recent controversy or his songs could not give him, and will be achieved by this Hollywood association, if it works out.
He has been quoted as the highest paid singer, and slowly and steadily he rose to fame with his Punjabi rap. Last year, he sang a number of songs for Bollywood and in the coming year he is to sign seven new Bollywood projects. He would be singing for directors such as Anurag Kashyap and Sajid Nadiadwala, reported Hindustan Times.
Honey Singh is obviously excited about his Hollywood debut except for the fact that he has to deliver the song withing a week. Talking about the same, he said, “They need the song in a week. I take at least three weeks to write and compose a song. If it's my first international song and that too for a franchise as well-known as Die Hard, I've to make sure it's an effort worth listening to.” As per the report, he is working on the song but would present it to the producer only if he is satisfied.
It is understandable as to why the singer cum rapper is being cautious as no one would want to again land up in soup after his last debacle. He was seriously in trouble for his misogynist lyrics in his songs. While he was vehemently denying the lyrics as his own, yet various journalist and people spoke strongly against the singer in the recent times and he wants to reverse the whole situation with one perfect Hollywood number.
