Hong Kong Super Sixes 2009 starts today
The Hong Kong Super Sixes 2009 cricket tournament starts today and will last till November 1. The 15th edition of the tournament will have 8 teams fighing for the title. Anil Kumble will lead the Indian Team in the tournament.

The Hong Kong Super Sixes 2009 cricket tournament starts today and will last till November 1. The 15th edition of the tournament will have 8 teams fighing for the title. All the eight teams have been divided into two groups, the northern and the southern hemispheres. India has been placed in the Norhern hemispheres along with teams like England, Sri Lanka and rivals Pakistan. Hongkong, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia compromise the Southern hemisphere group.

 

The two day shortest version has drawn a lot of attention and is expected to entertain the cricket lovers a lot. Last year, England won the title, defeating the Australians. Former test captain and veteran, Anil Kumble will lead the Indian Team in the tournament. All the matches can be on Ten Sports channel.

 

The schedule and fixture of the matches are:

3 9.50am Hong Kong vs New Zealand
4 10.35am Pakistan vs England
5 11.20am South Africa vs Australia
6 12.05pm Sri Lanka vs Pakistan
7 12.50pm Hong Kong vs Australia
8 1.35pm India vs England
9 2.20pm South Africa vs New Zealand
10 3.05pm India vs Pakistan
11 3.50pm New Zealand vs Australia
12 4. 35pm Sri Lanka vs England
