A TEACHER has been accused of beating a student mercilessly in Houston, Texas. A video making the rounds today, shows Sherri Davis, a science teacher of Jamie's House Charter School beating Isaiah Johnson, a student, who teased a special needs child. The video was captured on a cell phone by a student.
According to Janiqua Johnson, the student who shot the video said that the teacher snapped and started beating Isaiah. His behavior was bad but not that bad to deserve such a beating. After the video was released, Davis was fired immediately.
The school is looking into the matter and will punish the teacher in case the allegations are proved right. It has also said that if any other teacher is reported of acting in the same manner, will not be excused. The Harris Country Sheriff’s Department is also investigating the incident. The video of teacher beating student can be watched online. People have been watching the video on the internet across the globe.
