TRUTH WORKS without your belief; truth needs no belief on your part, because only if you believe can you create a mind attitude, an auto-suggestion, a climate, in which it works.

 

There are three locks or seals that a seeker has to pass through to attain to the fourth, the ultimate. These are very important. We shall try to understand what are these, how do they function, and what are the ways or techniques to open the doors.

The outermost core, the very periphery of your being is Action (Karma mudra) You love somebody, you hate somebody, you kill somebody, you protect somebody what you do is your periphery. The first seal is opened through becoming total in your action. Whatsoever you do, totally be into it. The one condition is that youll have to be fully aware and not lost in anger. Be an observer too at the same timeca witness.

If you find it difficult, you can try this: go home from your office and work up a mock fight with you wife or someone else. Make it look absolutely real for them. Only you know that it is fake, plain acting. It will help you to remain an observer from a distance. You will discover a lot of stupidity and foolishness that went fully unnoticed in your real anger. Every time then onwards, youll be reminded of your craziness and the worthlessness of it all. Just by being aware to anger, one day anger will disappear. Once you have understood it, it can be dropped.

The second seal, a little deeper than the first, is the layer of Knowledge (Jnana mudra), which too has to be broken. You can watch what I am doing but you cannot watch what I am knowing. Knowing is deeper. Now start knowing what you really know and stop believing things that you really dont know. Somebody asks you, Is there a god? and you say, Yes, god is. Remember, do you really know? If you dont know, please say that you dont know. If you are honest and you only say what you know, and you only believe what you know, the second lock will be broken. If you go on believing things that you dont know, the second lock will never be broken. False knowledge is the enemy of true knowledge.

The third layer is that of Time (Samaya mudra). The layer of knowledge being broken, you are in the present, in the now; the purest of time has remained. In the now-moment, there is no knowledge. Knowledge is always of the past. So is future; it is imagination, and not reality. Past is no more and future is not yet. Both are illusory. So the third seal is broken by being in the now. To be in the moment is to be in reality. The third barrier is overcome.

And the fourth is the deepest core where you exist Space (Maha mudra). Your existence is in the purest of space, in emptiness. The three layers are those of action, of knowing, and of time. Pass these three and you come to the fourth, to the very existence of your being.

Clarity is attained only when you have entered your pure space. Great work is needed to go into your reality. If you are prepared the journey can begin this moment.
