Police arrest two at Plaza Mall for serving liquor after permissible time
Gugaon police has arrested two persons, including the manager of a local bar for allegedly serving liquor after the permissible time. The incident happened when police raided the bar in Plaza Mall following a tip off that it was open post deadline and had been serving liquor. The bar's manager and another employee have been arrested and booked under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The accused were produced in court on Tuesday and were left on bail.
Labourer kills wife
Suspicious of his wife having an extra marital affair, a 30 year old labourer killed his wife on Monday night in Palam Vihar. According to the police, the accused, Virin and his wife, Kusum worked as labourers at a construction site in E-block, Sector-23. The couple had a six month old daughter. Virin suspected that his wife was having an illicit relationship with someone else. He was produced in a city court on Tuesday which sent him to judicial custody.
