Hyderabad to host three-day 'Pressing for Progress' national conference
A National Conference towards Gender Equity in Physics "Pressing for Progress" organised by the Indian Physics Association (IAP) and hosted by the University of Hyderabad is going to be held during 19-21 September in Hyderabad.

The first-of-its-kind national conference will deliberate both physics-related and sociology of physics-related topics. "It is intended to serve as a forum wherein physicists, Masters level and up, will draw inspiration from keynote talks by eminent women physicists, have an opportunity to present their research in multiple sub-disciplines, and deliberate on ways of promoting gender equity in physics including participation in immersive interactive workshops," wrote General Secretary, IPA in her e-mail .

It will be a broad based conference open to people of all genders, physicists as well as others engaged in the issue of gender equity in science in which physics research and/or on topics related to promoting gender equity will be presented.

I have contributed an abstract for the conference titled "Making Physics Instruction Ability and Gender Inclusive through Dual Code and Web-Charted Physics instruction: Outcomes on One-on-One Clinical Trial of a Lesson Study on Force at Grade Nine"
