About his present series of paintings, he says, “It is when we see not the crystal, pure soul god bestowed on us, we in greed, covetousness, anger and harmful ways excel. We are mortal for we stray from our lighted, fragrant rose garden sometimes, we are mortal for we hate in time what we loved one time, we are mortal for we see not the gate beautiful that opens into the landscape eternal. Our mortality into a higher space aspire, the days are brief, but why shall they in ugliness perspire!”
His present collection, Hymn to Eternity, evokes a supplication and humility to the eternal and a suggestion that we should go beyond the mundane self-centred life to offer a hymn to eternal gods. The American art curator Elizabeth Rogers says that the new collection expounds the artist's earlier forays beyond form, timelessness and eternity, images from a vein within the galaxy. Cutting across dimensions, he embraces the awe-inspiring magic of incarnation, a child’s perception of the mystery of life and the world.
