Hypocrisy should be avoided by the society
It is good to see that the nation got united recently to wipe out corruption present in many walks of life - a big thanks to Anna Hazare for doing everything to highlight this issue amongst the masses.
THERE IS also another issue which needs wide awakening amongst the masses and that issue is known as hypocrisy. Even in some families, member(s) of the family act like hypocrites without realising that this single trait can have long-term consequences.
Definition of hypocrisy goes like this: “Hypocricy is the state of pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, ideals, thoughts, feelings, qualities or standards that one does not have. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie.
”
In some sections of the society hypocrites thrive and send confusing and dubious messages and signals at times causing distortions in the smooth ongoing progress.
One of the best ways to desist people from being a hypocrite is through properly educating them - starting from primary/secondary education levels and through the media (including visual). Education providers must give big emphasis on this subject matter to assist students when they grow up - never to get caught being a hypocrite. Media should also keep publishing articles helping readers to enable them never to become a hypocrite. Concerned people are requested to do everything to give this subject matter a priority.
