HYUNDAI MOTORS India Ltd (HMIL) has launched Hyundai Verna Transform in India. The Hyundai Verna Transform is targeted at mid income level customers. Hyundai Verna Transform is set at price range of Rs. 6.56-9.22 lac ( showroom Delhi). Hyundai Verna diesel variant is set at price of Rs. 7.87 lac in India. The car is good value for money and will compete with Tata Indigo, Maruti SX4 and other mid segment cars. The new verna has been given more aggressive front facia with brand new bumpers, headlamps, radiator grill and side mirror repeaters compared to the previously dull looking Verna.It brings a stylish new interior with a lot of additional features making it more fuel efficient and as all its powertrains receives fuel economy improvements.
On the interiors side the sedan boasts of a latest MP3 player, a blue lit illuminated panel which catches eyes instantly and an iPod connect. The new avatar of Verna also brings an eco friendly lamp in the dash board that consumes very less of power and a radio, speedo and techo dial. It aims to boost the sale of Verna. The company launched the sedan in 2006 and since then has sold 82,076 units of the car. Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, H W Park, said, “The Verna Transform is all set to boost Hyundai’s already superior line-up of products in India by raising the benchmark in the sedan segment.”Hyundai Verna is expected to perform well on Indian roads
Why should you go for Verna:
At 2000 rpm, the Variable Geometry Turbo kicks in, and from that moment, even if you have 5 people, luggage, and AC on, the car literally makes you feel you are taking off in an aircraft – no exaggeration here. So appropriate when Hyundai gave it the tag line – “Feel it”.
Interior space - the Verna is very spacious inside and also feels very luxurious. It has a driver’s left armrest that is very useful during long drives. It also has a rear center armrest with two cup holders in it making seat travel very comfortable.There are enough cup holders and bottle holders other than these too. It gives an amazing mileage of 13/18 (City/Highway) with A/C on all the time. With 110 Bhp, the Verna CRDI is more powerful, and is more peppier than its petrol counterpart (103 Bhp). All other Diesel cars in India have lesser power than their petrol counterparts. This is possible with cutting edge technology – VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo). Road handling with the Verna has been excellent – especially with the recommended upgraded tyres .The Verna feels very stable and composed even at very high speeds. On new Indian highways, you can cruise at 120 - 140 kmph with the Verna CRDI, and still have lots of power available on tap, to overtake! The seats in the Verna are really very comfortable which is very helpful in long drives.

.Sx4 is a brilliantly priced cars. With Kizashi like looks, Sx4 is standing tall, has muscles and definitely male when compared to ugly Verna, puny City and average Fiesta looks Sx4 simply rocks in entry sedan segment!! When compared even to the new Verna Transform, Sx4 is still better
