According to news report, Aishwarya, who was admitted to the Seven Hills hospital on Monday night, delivered her baby around 9:30 AM this morning and the entire Bachchan family - Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Nanda and Aishwarya's parents Vrinda and Krishnaraj Rai were beside her.  

Aishwarya and Abhishek daughter is the third grandchild of  Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan after Agastya and Navya - children of his daughter Shweta and son-in-law Nikhil Nanda.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan got married in 2007 and on June 21 this year, senior Bachchan broke the news of an impending baby on the micro blogging site twitter. He tweeted  - NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!".

Arjun Rampal has tweeted, "Congratulation daddy cool @juniorbachchan and the coolest DaDaji @SrBachchan and the most beautiful Mommy Ash and the lovely Dadi Jayaji."

Bollywood stars and celebrities congratulated the proud family on twitter. Bipasha Basu was among the first who congratulated the Bachchans on twitter. She tweeted - "OMG! So excited Baby B is Daddy to a lil Angel! Congrats Ash n @juniorbachchan n to d entire family!Welcome sweet baby girl:)." Anupam Kher tweeted - "CONGRATULATIONS @juniorbachchan and Ash. So so Happy. May the new arrival in the family bring more happiness, joy and peace. Love.:)." Rohan Sippy tweeted,  "@juniorbachchan congratulations- awesome news!!!." Karan Johar tweeted, "Congratulations!! Baby B had a baby girl!! @juniorbachchan!!! All the love and happiness...am sure she will be the prettiest girl ever!!!"
