IAS DK Ravi's mysterious death: In one voice everyone demands CBI probe
The entire opposition in Karnataka assembly has echoed the voice of IAS officer DK Ravi's family members and fans and demanded CBI enquiry into the death of the officer under mysterious circumstances. Ravi, had recently taken over as joint commissioner of commercial taxes. As a deputy commissioner of Kolar district RAvi had also taken on the sand mafia.

Ravi had become an extremely popular bureaucrat in the capacity of deputy commissioner for his action against encroachments and his other steps to do away with corruption.

Ravi's father-in-law, Hanumantharayappa while ruling out state government's claim that the IAS officer committed suicide, raised fingers at Congress legislator SN Narayanawamy, claiming that the Congress MLA was putting pressure on Ravi to ignore illegal steps taken by his real estate company.

Ravi's father also suspects a foul play in the death of his son. He said that there might be chances that Ravi was under pressure from some builders. 

Micro-blogging site Twitter was abuzz with the angry reactions coming all the from VIPs, and commoners who are demanding a thorough probe in the death of the IAS officer by CBI.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to twitter to pay homage to the 35-year-old IAS officer.

Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi lashed out at the predecessors of DK Ravi for not doing anything to clean the corrupt system. In a tweet she demanded the case to be handed over to CBI before the crucial eveidences are lost. 

Former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble while expressing shock over the death of Ravi described him as a brave IAS offiver. He hoped that justice would be done. 

The way people across the nation have shown unity in demanding justice for IAS officer DK Ravi clearly shows one thing that this nation is fed up of corrupts and love people who take the task of cleaning the system in their hands.

The opposition parties are demanding for a CBI inquiry into Ravi's death case. Not only the opposition but the Lawyers in Bengaluru protested against the Congress government and demanded CBI probe.

HD Kumaraswamy from, JDS has reportedly alleged that the State's CM visited the place where post-mortem was conducted to influence the officers.

The opposition is not happy with the investigation happening in the case. Sadananda Gowda has said they would approach Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh regarding the matter.
