IAS officer Ashok Khemka accuses HUDA administrator's mother of owning panchayat's land worth crores
IAS officer Ashok Khemka has claimed that the present administrator of HUDA Praveen Kumar's mother owns land worth in crores, which was actually Panchayat's land. Reacting to the claims, Kumar, said that the Faridabad's land is clean and that there is nothing wrong.
He further clarified that his mother was independent of him and lived with his father, who was himself a Harayan official. Praveen Kumar also said that her mother was not related to Present Haryana
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda as was alleged by Khemka.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Kumar said, “My mother belongs to Sanghi village that of course is village of Haryana
CM also. But my mother is not relative of the Haryana CM at all and the charges leveled against her is baseless and without verifications.”
As for the land, he added that the piece of property in question was purchased by his mother and that it was in the name of an individual and not the panchayat land as claimed by Khemka. He also clarified that there is nothing wrong to purchase two acres land from an individual after fulfilling all the formalities.
Ashok Khemka, on the other hand had alleged that 734 acres of panchayat land in village Ankhir of Faridabad district was inappropriately distributed among influential people and close relatives of Haryana CM, including Kumar's mother Krishna Kanta.
